Transforming Lives Through Better Chances

At Reagrivism, we believe in the power of second chances. Our mission is to reduce recidivism by providing comprehensive support and rehabilitation programs for individuals transitioning from incarceration to society. We combine education, job training, and mentorship to empower our clients with the skills and confidence they need to rebuild their lives. Join us in fostering a safer, more inclusive community.

The ripple effects show up in our food and workforce systems as lost labor, reduced household purchasing power, and fewer community members able to train, supervise, and lead new growers at a time when the country needs more local production. Food insecurity is already real, with 13.5 percent of U.S. households experiencing food insecurity in 2023. At the same time, food prices continue to pressure families, with year over year food inflation remaining elevated in recent reporting periods, squeezing grocery budgets and increasing demand for affordable local options. On top of that, domestic supply gaps remain, especially for specialty crops like fruits and vegetables, where imports represent a substantial share of availability, leaving communities exposed to price swings and supply disruptions. This is why agribusiness can be a practical reentry pathway and a community stabilizer. Building a lawful enterprise on private land through specialty crops, eggs, herbs, value added products, or farm services can create income, restore routine, and strengthen local food access.
